A fellow Indians fan thought the little kid with a glove, Indians signs and a Cleveland hat deserved a game ball and gave it to #1. He was so excited that he couldn't talk :) Hope you find a truly fitting place for your game ball!chipperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11063520094539344254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18952856.post-38551634486876619502008-07-15T05:27:00.000-07:002008-07-15T05:27:00.000-07:00Way cool! I have some serious Cardinal fans in my family who would give a lot to have been in your husband's place.

When I was in college I went to a game and sat in the bleachers (bleacher seats were four dollars back then. The mind boggles.)

ANYway, somebody, (Ozzie, maybe? Somebody HUGE at the time), hit a homer into the bleachers and it bounced in front of me. I had NACHOS in my hand, though, so I didn't make a great effort to get it. My nephew was about eleven at the time, and even though he's in his mid-twenties now, I still don't think he's forgiven me for not dumping the nachos and diving for the ball.Staci Eastinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01107996901556804274noreply@blogger.com
